Over his 22 years in the industry, Jeremy Sallis has regularly hosted some of the largest events in the region including Cambridge's largest ever spectacle, the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay in front of a crowd of 40,000 on Parker's Piece, as well as the annual Cambridge Fireworks display which boasts 25,000 spectators, the Grand Arcade Cambridge Christmas Lights Switch-On and the Addenbrookes' Breast Cancer Appeal Fashion Show (pictured above). Jeremy is an accomplished and trusted public speaker who helped launch the Liam Fairhurst Foundation charity at Downing Street. As a well-known figure in broadcasting and journalism, Jeremy has been asked to chair lively and contentious debates on environmental topics such as water quality for the charity Cam Valley Forum, and political hustings on behalf of the Coton Busway Action Group, where he questioned the Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for South Cambridgeshire, challenging them on issues regarding biodiversity, water scarcity, development and transport infrastructure. For the last two years, he has chaired The Big Debate at the prestigious Cambridge Union alongside debaters such as Olympian Dr Anna Watkins, Dragon Piers Linney, and Cobra founder Lord Bilimoria.
