Cambridge half marathon for Romsey Mill
A message of thanks
To mark turning 50 the week before, I ran the 2026 Cambridge half marathon for the first time in 15 years on March 8th. This time, I wanted to run it for the Cambridge charity, Romsey Mill, and thanks to the enormous generosity of sponsors like you, I raised over £900, and the team of runners of which I was part raised over £16,000 on the day. So, a huge thank you to all those who supported me and helped get me over the finish line in under two hours.
Who is Romsey Mill?
Romsey Mill is a charity committed to overcoming disadvantage, challenging injustice and promoting social inclusion with young people, children and families. Each year, they work with over 2,000 individuals and families from Cambridge city and across areas of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
